I am firmly committed to the idea that good pedagogical practices are both informed and ever-evolving. For this reason, I strive to balance tested methods on the one hand and new, promising techniques on the other. Against this backdrop, my courses are designed with three goals in mind: tailoring the content of each course to the specific makeup of the class in question; cultivating the argumentative and critical thinking skills that are central to philosophical inquiry; and promoting equality and inclusivity in both my syllabi and my classrooms.
